I was born in 1949 in Jonquière a city of Saguenay-Lac St-Jean that is a north east region of Québec province. As a newborn, because of FCS, I’ve been sent in emergency by plane to Montreal at Hôpital Sainte-Justine (children’s hospital). At that time the diagnosis was much more difficult than actually.

Because of multiple and many sorts of medical tests I’ve stayed at the hospital for the first 9 months of my life (I’ve read my medical register). Before 5 years old, I’ve been hospitalized many times for long periods of time. My condition was stable between 5 and 18 years old. It was at 18 years old that I’ve had a pancreatitis. I was in Ontario because of the harvest.

Even if I was following my diet since I was a child, I’ve had numerous pancreatitis because of alcohol consumption before I stopped alcohol completely. I guess it was my way to rebel against the disease.
