Potato Latkes

Delicious potato latkes traditionally served at Hanukkah


1. 1-1/2 pounds russet potatoes peeled.
2. 1/4 cup finely chopped shallots.
3. 4 egg whites lightly beaten.
4. 2 tablespoons flour (or more) or matzo meal (during Passover)
5. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and freshly ground black pepper.


Form into thinnish patties and place on greaseproof paper or a silicon sheet
Grill on medium for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally.

Serve with apple sauce
